This weekend, Woodland Park Players presents Disenchanted!

This hilariously subversive not-for-kids hit musical tells the tale of what happens when the storybook princesses come to life to share their truths about "Happily Ever After."

Disenchanted features a multicultural cast of 15 women from ages 20-60 and all over the area.

“This show is such an exhilarating experience to be a part of both as cast and audience member. There is something for everyone at every age. It is truly a show not to be missed!” said Amanda Cirie, who plays Cinderella.

Jessica Noeldner is Sleeping Beauty and echoed her castmate saying, “There’s no topic in this play that any woman hasn’t dealt with personally. By satirizing these very serious issues, we bring not only an awareness to them, but a new sense of empowerment as well.”

Profits from ticket sales are donated to the arts programs in Seattle Public Schools.

Producer Linda Joss said, “We believe in the power of art and know it is good for children’s bodies and souls.”

To date, Woodland Park Players has donated over $35,000.

Performances are Nov. 3-5 at Magnuson Theater 7120 62nd Ave NE and tickets range from $15-$30.  www.brownpapertickets.com/event/6146952
