The Lincoln GX, the Lincoln High School girls Ultimate Frisbee team, claimed the Seattle Metro League championship title last week after defeating cross-town rival Roosevelt High School to win the Metro League Championship.
The team is coached by Maddy Stephenson and Charlie Eide and features seniors Mia Kehoe-Robertas, Nina Debry, Ella Monaghan, Lauren Goddu, Juliet Silvers and Sam Medina.
Earlier this year, Roosevelt defeated Lincoln by just one point in regular-season play.
The two squads are ranked nationally, are the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in the Washington state playoffs and could meet again.
