Gordon W. Saul born November 25, 1941 in Seattle, Washington to Melvin F. Saul and Lillian D. Schroder Saul, died February 4, 2022 of Alzheimer’s. He is survived by his wife Janine Saul, children: Laurie (Mike) Laughery, Brian (Debbie) Saul, Alicia Saul, Katie (Greg) DeLosSantos, Elisabeth (David) Westover, and step-children. Tina (Ron) Rood and Terry Leber. Gordon’s extensive family also includes 6 siblings. Gary Saul (deceased), Melvin Saul Jr. (deceased), Gail (Gordon) Latimer, Roger Saul (deceased), Patti Jo (Richard) Burke and step-brother, Gilbert “Ray” Johnson (deceased), 19 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Gordon attended Queen Anne High School and graduated from Edison Tech in Seattle before serving 4 years in the Air Force. He continued his education at Eastern Washington State College, Cheney and graduated with a Master’s Degree in School Administration. Gordon taught Computers, Math/ Algebra and English to Jr.-Sr. High and college students for 45 years; 35 years were spent at Raymond High School. His love of students continued long after retiring in 2002 as he continued to volunteer in the Adult Basic Education classroom until 2016. He is best known for playing chess, photography, fishing and loving Jesus. A celebration of Gordon’s life is planned for 2:00pm March 19, 2022 at Crossroads Church in Raymond, Washington.
