Seattle lost a good man, husband, father and friend on Friday, January 14th of 2022. John Rhys Evans III passed away under the comfort and care of the sensitive staff at Harborview Hospital.
John was a Roosevelt HS & University of Washington Alumni. A true Seattle native! He favored Husky games, online chess, witty banter, a good book , and the excitement of day-trading. He retired from his partnership with his daughter in the family Farmers Insurance Agency at the ripe age of 86. A true work-a-holic with passion for his industry.
John was a colorful character full of intellect and charm. He will be missed by his loving family and abundance of friends. A true blessing to society and a one-of-a-kind gentleman.
He leaves behind his beloved wife of 55 years Gloria, sons John Rhys IV (Neetha) and Morgan, and daughter Jennifer Evans (Darin), and his grandson Hudson Kudrna.
