Open house on David Rodgers Park play area set for Feb. 7

The in-house design team for Seattle Parks and Recreation will be at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 1st Ave. W.) on Feb. 7 for the final meeting on the David Rodgers Park play area renovation.

Community members of all ages are encouraged to provide input at the open-house style meeting from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on the latest design concepts and play equipment options. Light refreshments will be served.

The improvement project — aimed at making the play area safer, and accessible to children of all ages and abilities — is funded through the Seattle Park District. Construction is expected to begin this fall, and wrap up sometime next summer.
