Suspects sought in Interbay armed robbery

Detectives from the Seattle Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying two suspects sought in connection with a pair of armed robberies last Friday morning.

According to police, at approximately 3 a.m. on Dec. 29, a mask-wearing duo entered a convenience store in the 3200 block of 20th Avenue West in Interbay. With one of the suspects brandishing a silver handgun, they took money from the cash register, and fled the scene.

A half-hour later, officers were called to a store in the 10800 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast, after a similar incident, again involving two suspects, both wearing masks and armed with a handgun.

Authorities believe the suspects are also responsible for a pair of robberies in Stanwood earlier this week, and detectives are investigating whether the two were also involved in other recent robberies in the area.

Anyone with information on the two Seattle cases are asked to contact Det. Rodgers at 206-684-0821.
