Meetings ahead for Your Voice Your Choice

The 2018 Your Voice Your Choice process is in full swing, and project development meetings are underway in each council district to narrow down the list of ideas that could receive a chunk of the $3 million of city funding designated for small-scale park and street improvements.

Four meetings have been scheduled for District 7, starting March 5 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Queen Anne Community Center (1901 1st Ave. W.), with others on March 12 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Board & Commissions Room at Seattle City Hall (600 4th Ave.), March 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Mama’s Cantina (2234 2nd Ave.) and March 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Magnolia Branch Library (2801 34th Ave. W.).

At each meeting, participants will discuss the submitted ideas in small groups, and score them based on the physical need and community benefits.

Anyone who lives, works, attends school, receives services, volunteers, or has a connection to the City of Seattle can participate.

Voting on the final list of ideas will take place from June 16 to July 16.
