Magnolia Art Walk this Saturday

The first Magnolia Art Walk of 2018 is set for Saturday in Magnolia Village from 4 to 7 p.m.

Among the highlights, Magnolia’s Bookstore (3206 W. McGraw St.) will host author and illustrator Sara Anderson from 4 to 6 p.m., displaying her original art. She’ll also sign copies of her books, which include, “A Day at the Market,” and “Noisy City Night.”

Tania Gonzalez Ortega will be the featured artist at Narthex Gallery (inside the community space at the Magnolia United Church of Christ), and will give a lecture on her art and process at 4:30 p.m. There will also be a special goat cheese tasting from Sunny Pine Farm — a microdairy in Twisp owned by Gonzalez Ortega and her husband.

The other three Art Walks for 2018 are slated for May 26, Aug. 25, and Nov. 24.
