Marlene Hawkins Hernandez was constantly in motion! She cared for others, volunteering at Queen Anne’s many churches, caring for the sick and helping family, friends and strangers without a second thought. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity and love of life! She is survived by her loving husband Jesse, daughter Debby Cooper, grandchildren Brandie Stolle, Wayne Cooper, Mariah Elby and her four great-grandchildren. Services were held on Monday, September 11, 2017 at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 1818 Queen Anne Ave. N., Seattle 98109. Remembrances can be sent to Bethany Presbyterian Church to support their free Wednesday night dinners or to the Children’s Clinic and Preschool, 1850 Boyer Ave. E., Seattle 98112, to support their children’s therapy programs.
