More than 220 coats were collected last October for the Queen Anne Helpline’s clothing bank during the third-annual fall coat drive, organized by Stephanie Kastner of Coldwell Banker Danforth.
This year, she’s hoping to best that mark once again.
From Oct. 1 to 31, collection bins will be at the Umpqua Bank locations in Queen Anne (1630 Queen Anne Ave. N.) and Magnolia (2236 32nd Ave. W.) for new and gently used winter clothing for neighbors in need.
