Virginia Seim Coester July 11, 1946 - May 30, 2017

Virginia Seim Coester passed away peacefully on May 30, 2017 surrounded by the love of her family.  Virginia was born on July 11, 1946 to James and Marian Seim in Seattle.  She was a lifelong resident of Queen Anne Hill, a 1964 graduate of Queen Anne High School and a lifelong member of Queen Anne Christian Church.

Virginia ran a daycare out of her home for more than 40 years and in her spare time was busy cutting hair.  She was a generous extrovert with a happy outlook on life.  She cared about others, stopping to pet dogs and talk to their owners, offering to buy a meal for the hungry, or taking a photo so everyone in the group could be in the picture.

Virginia is survived by her three daughters, Toni Olin, Lori (Barry) Olin-Evans and Tracy (Alex) Saks; and three grandchildren, Idries Rashid, Aaliyah Rashid and Molli Marian Evans.

A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at Queen Anne Christian Church on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at 10:30am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Queen Anne Food Bank or Queen Anne Christian Church.
