Beth Alberti (nee Canty) passed away on February 21, 2017. She was born in Eatonville, WA in 1922 (just this side of Paradise as she was fond of saying). She grew up in Seattle, graduated from Queen Anne High in 1940 and raised five children: John, Cindy, Laurie, Mary, and David. Her passions ranged from sailing to opera to wine to water ballet. She was always a magnet drawing people together and to her – how we shall miss her.
Please join us to celebrate her life on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Puget Sound Yacht Club, 2321 N. Northlake Way, Seattle, WA 98103, on the West Shore of Lake Union, north of Gasworks Park and next to the ramp where the DUKWs (colloquially, “DUCKS”) launch. Public parking on Northlake Way. (Note: Beth was the first woman Commodore of Elk YC before it joined PSYC).
