Community comes out for annual Queen Anne Days

While many look at the Fourth of July as the official start of summer, those in Queen Anne know the true mark of the season is the annual Queen Anne Days.

Renamed this year to honor longtime community volunteer and businesssman Craig Wilson, the event was much like those of years past.

The morning started with the fun run and walk at 8 a.m. to benefit the Queen Anne Helpline, and was followed a little later by the dog and kiddie parade around the neighborhood.

That procession kicked off the festival portion of the day.

The festivities offered a little something for everyone, from bouncy houses, crafts, and carnival games for kids, to live music for all ages. The classic car show entertained car buffs of all ages.

Here are just a few of the sights we captured during Saturday’s revelry.
