LETTER TO THE EDITOR | No RV camping should be allowed on city streets

The mayor has started addressing the problem of those who use RVs as drug houses on wheels; however, we continue to believe [the] mayor and [City] Council should put in place an emergency moratorium banning all RVs from using our streets as campsites for more than 72 hours. Then amend city code to effectuate no RV camping on streets.

Also, [the] mayor and [City] Council can find a permanent solution in city RV parks that will provide the services some folks need.

We all need to stand for what makes Seattle great: our world-famous tree-canopied neighborhoods — the best urban environment in America.

The citizens of Seattle simply want clean, safe and healthy neighborhoods for everybody.
