Fishermen’s Terminal launches long-term planning

The Port of Seattle is launching the Fishermen’s Terminal Long-Term Strategic Plan for the uplands portion of Fishermen’s Terminal (3919 18th Ave. W.). The port’s goal is to double the size of the commercial fishing business cluster that is centered on the terminal.

Consideration will be given to aging structures, changing needs of the fleet and leveraging the terminal’s role as a community landmark. The planning will be guided by stakeholder outreach, which will include established groups such as the Fishermen’s Terminal Advisory Committee, as well as the public.
