The city’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) provided the following information.

Appeals are made to the Office of the Hearing Examiner, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor (SMT-40-00), 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 4000, Seattle, WA 98104. An $85 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle must accompany appeals.

Permit decisions

1936 EIGHTH AVE. W. (3019133) on a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project No. 6378111. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Unit Lot Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than July 2.

1207 WESTLAKE AVE. N. (3016543) on a Land Use Application to allow two six-story structures, one containing 277 residential units and one containing 110 residential units above retail space in an environmentally critical area. Parking for 234 vehicles to be provided in a shared below-grade garage. Existing underground tanks to be removed (6416606). The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Design Review conditionally granted; Determination of Non-Significance with conditions (no Environmental Impact Statement required). Environmental review completed, and project conditioned as applicable. This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355. The comment period was originally published on Sept. 11, 2014, and there is no further comment period on this DNS. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than July 2.

 

Appeal hearings

1507 FIRST AVE. W. (3016580) of a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. Residential use is being reviewed under Project No. 6407327. Existing structures are to remain. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following decision has been appealed: Unit Lot Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The appeal hearing will take place July 27 at 9 a.m.
