McCLURE PASTA DINNER

BLAINE CARNIVAL

OPEN HOUSE ON SEATTLE PARKS

The Church of Scientology (300 W. Harrison St.) is sponsoring an open house on Friday, June 5, with Seattle Parks and Recreation plant ecologist Michael Yadrick speaking on sustaining city greenspaces. Also, Jim Mahon, with The Way to Happiness Foundation, will talk about safeguarding the environment, and Dave Scattergood, with the Scientology Environmental Task Force, will address ongoing projects. CUB SCOUTS’ GAMES

Queen Anne Cub Scout Packs Nos. 70/72 are inviting boys in kindergarten through fourth grade to join them as they launch bottle rockets and play Capture the Flag, on Monday, June 8, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. It will take place at Rodgers Park (W. Raye St. and First Ave. W.).
