The community centers and fire stations will open on Feb. 14 in recognition of Seattle’s Neighbor Appreciation Day.
The Queen Anne Community Center (1901 First Ave. W.) will have cookies and other treats, as well as a table of Neighbor Cards to fill out and hand to neighbors.
The Magnolia Community Center (2550 34th Ave. W.) will open from noon to 2 p.m. for visitors to make cards for their neighbors and to enjoy cookies, punch and coffee.
The city’s fire stations will open from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for open houses, including Station No. 20 (2800 15th Ave. W.) and No. 41 (2416 34th Ave. W.).
The events are free.
