[Regarding “Public opinion to shape Smith Cove Park,” April 8:] With 50 percent more dogs than kids [in Seattle], I think it is time to accommodate the dogs.
I have a son, as well as dogs. The bottom line is that there are a whole lot of playgrounds [and] beautiful huge parks all around the Puget Sound; yet, there is a lack of off-leash dog parks.
Tiny parks with sharp rocks equals useless!
