John A. "Jack" King August 23, 1930- September 9, 2014

John A. “Jack” King lost his battle with Dementia, and went home to be with Our Lord Jesus Christ, on September 9, 2014.
Jack was born on August 23, 1930 to John and Myrtle King. He and his older brother, Bruce, grew up in Seattle on Queen Anne Hill. He attended and graduated from Coe Elementary School, Queen Anne High School, and the University of Washington.
As an adult, Jack served in the United States Air Force, where he was stationed in Japan during the Korean War.
After leaving the Air Force, Jack married Roberta Mitchell. Soon after marriage, son Kevin and daughter Karen were born. Jack also began his long career in advertising where he rose to become president of an advertising agency. Under his leadership, the agency grew to become the 3rd largest advertising agency in Washington State.
As he was retiring from advertising, Jack started WSN Television, a television production company dedicated to water sports and water recreation.

Jack was a boating and sports enthusiast all of his life and spent many summers and weekends boating in Puget Sound and Canada with family and friends. Jack was never happier then when he was boating.
Jack was a loving, devoted Christian husband, father, family member, and friend. He was a patient, kind man with an incredible sense of humor. He loved, and was loved by, family and friends alike.
Services will be held for Jack at Alderwood Community Church, 3403 Alderwood Mall Blvd., Lynnwood, WA, 98036, on Saturday, October 4th, at 1:00 PM. All are welcome.
Instead of flowers, please donate to the Wounded Warriors Project in Jack’s name. Thank you.
