Patricia Rose Church (July 31, 1938- October 7, 2014)

Patricia Rose Church peacefully passed away in her home on October 7, 2014. Patricia was born in Seattle on July 31, 1938 to Chester and Kay Crenna. She was raised on Capitol Hill and lived her entire life in Seattle where she was a member of the University of Washington rowing club, the Seattle Yacht Club and the Seattle boating community. Patty lived in Magnolia for the past 45 years and was an active participant in the Emblem Club and the Eagles.  She attended Holy Names Academy and was in the graduating class of 1956. She also attended Seattle University and the Metropolitan Business College. She was an administrator at the Seattle Blood Bank for many years, as well as a prominent figure in the Seattle fishing industry where she worked for most of her professional life. 

Patty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland; her beloved son, Brian; and her cherished sister, Merilee. She is survived by her adopted children, Sheila, Gail and Michael; her grandson, Devin; her brother, Chuck and his wife Caroline and their children, Shasta, Patrick and Sara; and her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth, Laurie, Kevin, Darcy, and Adam. 

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Magnolia. Her love remains in the hearts of all who knew her…Patty never met a stranger.
