[Regarding the Oct. 29 story “SCDS parents question safety of 7-way intersection”:] My son attended the Bertschi School on Capitol Hill. The school hired a crossing guard to help students safely cross a very busy intersection on 10th Avenue East at drop-off and pickup. This was a very effective way to protect the students. Has SCDS considered this option?
