The Kirkland Junior High Wrestling Team was crowned dual meet champions for the 2007 season in the Lake Washington School District. The team was undefeated with seven wins in seven matches.
Head Coach Terry Higbee said that this was the first time the team has brought home the dual meet title in 10 years. The team was led by three undefeated wrestlers, Dylan Ullery, Kyle Lance and Joel Navas. Dylan Ullery finished his junior high career undefeated through all three years of competition.
The following wrestlers placed in the final league tournament:
First place: Joel Navas 100lbs, Kyle Lance 120lbs, Dylan Ullery 130lbs.
Second place: Saroosh Kherghepoosh 85lbs, Jordan Zogg 125 lbs.
Third place: Mason Gray 90lbs., Jacob Reddinger 110lbs, Ian Olgilvie heavyweight
Fourth place: Mario Salazar 137 lbs, Kenneth Williams 165lbs, Ibrahim Khifeh 175lbs, Kyle Perry 190lbs
Fifth place: Michael Carroll 95lbs, Jacob Debellis 155lbs, Jack Michels 165lbs
Sixth place: Sam Aguirre 155lbs
