Taco bar and auction this Sunday in Magnolia

Kids auction youth services such as babysitting, weeding and more

Join Magnolia Mission Youth (MMY) at its annual Cinco de Mayo Dinner and Dessert Auction this Sunday evening which will feature a taco bar and an auction of reliable youth services such as babysitting, painting, weeding and more.
Another highlight of the day is the silent dessert auction. Cookies, pies, and cakes, some homemade, some from bakeries will be available. Bid on your favorite dessert(s) to eat that night, or take home for later! (MMY can accept cash or checks only.)
Proceeds of the event primarily go toward this summer's MMY high school kids' mission trip. They will be traveling to Idaho for a week of volunteer service in an impoverished area. Working with an organization that coordinates such trips, the youth may be caring for children, painting, repairing structures and preparing meals.
Guests are encouraged to be a part of the event by donating a dessert or even an auction item, from cheesecake to Mariners tickets.
MMY is an interdenominational youth group supported by for local churches (Church of the Ascension, Magnolia Lutheran Church, Magnolia Presbyterian Church, and Magnolia United Church of Christ). MMY kids attend several schools including Fatima, Blaine, Hamilton, Blanchet and Ingraham. MMY kids do fun things like LaserTag and snow tubing, and service events such as fundraise for Haiti relief and World Vision, plus they create the Magnolia Village Haunted House each year. MMY welcomes ALL sixth to 12th-grade kids from any church or even if they have no church affiliation. MMY is an incorporated nonprofit.[[In-content Ad]]
