STREET TALK: What changes would you make to the Seattle Center?

Victor Betancourt

Nothing has changed since I was in high school. You'd think with all the money this town has it would have been renovated. I'd like to see a state-of-the-art basketball and hockey arena. There should be better, state-of-the-art rides. It's kind of a waste land.

Brenda McLouglan

I'd like to see more open space. A huge park would be such a nice place for families to come. I envision it as Seattle's back yard

Chloe Havellana

I'd put in a big park with a pond you could swim in. I'd also like a Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum, like the one in San Francisco.

Jeremy Havellana

The first thing I'd do is invest in an arena to save the Sonics. It's a big deal to lose your biggest client. Memorial Stadium should be turned into a outdoor amphitheater. The Center is a feature attraction of the city and it should reflect it. There's so much potential here.
