The sixth annual Magnolia tennis flight pink celebration was held at the Serendipity Café in early November.
The celebration is in honor of Dana Sigley who passed away from cancer in 2006. Sigley was an active member of the Magnolia community and especially with the Magnolia tennis program.
Sigley’s friends gather in her honor and to acknowledge this year’s tennis champions. The group’s spring champions were Sandra Hobkirk in the 3.0 flight; Kate Folkers in the 3.25 flight; and a 3-way tie with Margaret Evans, Nancy Knoll and Randi Mezich for the 3.5 flight. The summer champions were Margaret Campbell in the 3.25 flight; and Nancy Knoll in the 3.5 flight. The fall champions were Lynne Alexander in the 3.25 flight; and Lisa Dunn in the 3.5 flight.
