Permit applications

The following information was provided by the city's Department of Planning and Development. Written comments on projects should be mailed to 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.
Appeals are made to the Office of the Hearing Examiner, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor (SMT-40-00), 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 4000, Seattle, WA 98104. Appeals must be accompanied by a $50 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle.

706 TAYLOR AVE. N. (128899) for a sidewalk café permit accessory to Citizen Café, as received by the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT).
Comments regarding the sidewalk café application are accepted through July 15 via e-mail to annualpermits@seattle.gov or by mail to SDOT, Attn: Annual Permits, P.O. Box 34996, Seattle, WA 98124. Include the application number, project address and your contact information with your comment.
Any person may request a review or reconsideration of an SDOT decision. The request must be in writing and sent within 10 days of the decision posting to the SDOT director, with the application number, grounds for objecting to the decision based on City standards and the specific remedy being proposed (SMC 15.04.112).

(3011312) for a Land Use Application to allow a two buildings (one seven-story and one eight-story) containing research-and-development laboratories for the University of Washington with retail. Project includes grading. Parking for 269 vehicles to be provided in a three-level, below-grade garage. Existing structures to be demolished. City of Seattle prepared the EIS. The following approvals are required: Design Review; SEPA to approve, Condition or deny pursuant to 25.05.660.
