Mini-Mart owner deserves equal rights
As a life-long resident of Queen Anne Hill I can only feel outrage and embarrassment over how some of the people of QA are treating the owners of the new mini-mart at 5 Corners. These people have every right to open a legal business, one that apparently meets City standards for the area, without harassment. (There was a store just like it in the same location for many years.) I can not fathom how this Michael Tasch, who seems to be the driving force of the opposition, can get away with falsely using the endorsement of Helpline even after he was told specifically by Helpline to remove any reference to their organization from his petition. Mr. Tasch has built his petition against the mini-mart on a false premise, thus his credibility should be highly suspect and his opposition should be ignored. Mr. Tasch is using his own agenda to jeopardize the future of a family that has had the spirit to seek the American Dream. Who's next on his agenda? The Park's should immediately be granted all the rights that they are entitled to as proprietors of store of this type. If you don't agree with it don't shop there.
