Magnolia hosts United Indians Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow

United Indians of All Tribes Foundation held its 24th Annual Seafair Indian Days Pow Wow over the weekend at Discovery Park. The Pow Wow traditionally brings together Native Americans and non-Native Americans to socialize and celebrate with Indigenous dance, song, arts, traditional crafts and American Indian food.

"Our Pow Wow is a fun, unique and spiritually uplifting event," said Marty Bluewater, Chief Executive Officer of the United Indians of All Tribes Foundation.

Some of the day's activities included Bernie Whitebear Men's traditional old-style dance, dancing, drum contest, arts and craft booths, a fine arts demonstration and plenty of food such as barbecued salmon, tacos and frybread.[[In-content Ad]]
