Robin Schoenfeld, clinic manager for MTI Physical Therapy (3200 W. McGraw St.), was awarded the 2013 Physical Therapist of the Year from the Physical Therapy Association of Washington.
Schoenfeld joined Manual Therapy International (MTI) in December 2003. Her career began in New York City, treating patients from the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine.
She specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and sports-related injuries. She has trained in women’s health issues, including female pelvic-floor weakness, stress/urge incontinence and pre and post-partum dysfunction.
Schoenfeld is the current legislative committee chair of the Physical Therapy Association of Washington and is also a Washington delegate for the American Physical Therapy Association’s (APTA) House of Delegates.
She was recently appointed to a subgroup of the Governance Review Task Force for the APTA.
