Congratulations to Magnolia Village Pub owner Joel Steadman for being spotlighted by business website Forbes.com as the best bar in Seattle for watching the Super Bowl.
This is quite a heady honor for the neighborhood pub that was recently acquired by Steadman and his father.
Here is how Forbes described the establishment:
“No lattes here. While the trendier Sport Restaurant and Bar offers more TV sets, including a 130-inch high-definition flat screen, at Magnolia, sports fans indulge in good old-fashioned burgers, chicken wings and crab. Known for meaty wings and a manageable beer selection (do hardcore fans want to choose from 100 brands of beer? How about "pour me a Bud and turn on the game"), each table has its own television set, complementing the 10 plasma screens mounted near the ceiling.”
