Longtime Queen Anne resident, Edward A. Carlson, was born in Ault, Colo. in 1918 and died March 5 after a long battle with cancer. Mr. Carlson was preceded in death by his wife, Betty, in 2003; he is survived by his sons Ty, Craig and Jeff; grandchildren Rebecca, Nicholas and Alena; his brother Wes and nephews Doug, Jay and Ken.
Mr. Carlson was a multi-talented and inspirational person. People who knew him were inspired in many ways.
Memorial service for Mr. Carlson will be held at 1:30 pm, Saturday, April 17, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 5816 15th Ave. N.W.
