The Greater Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce celebrated the achievements of four of its member businesses at its 3rd Annual Awards Luncheon at Ponti Seafood Grill on June 18.
Winners of the awards included: The MarQueen Hotel; Large Business Award, Edwards Jones Investments/Don Lagerquist; Small Business Award, OfficeMax; Community Service Award and Outback Steakhouse received the President's Award for its contributions to the Chamber.
Robert Nellams, Director of the Seattle Center, was the featured speaker, and briefed the crowd on future plans for the Center, some of which are already underway.
Sponsors of the event included Midlakes Insurance and Video Isle and flowers were supplied by Queen Anne's Juniper Flowers. Ponti Seafood Grill hosted the event.
Attendees at the luncheon included Seattle City Council Members Richard Conlin, Sally Clark and Jean Godden as well as Lloyd Hara and Gael Tarleton from the Port of Seattle and former Seattle Mayor Wes Uhlman.[[In-content Ad]]
