Candidates square off at Mount Baker forum ahead of the upcoming Sept. 20 primary elections



Both Angel BolaƱos and Casey Corr, two of five candidates for Seattle City Council Position 4 took part in a preliminary candidate forum sponsored by the Coalition of Southeast Seattle Community Councils and hosted at the Mount Baker Community Club on Sept. 8. Along with the council hopefuls, candidates running for the school board, the Port of Seattle, and the monorail board were all invited to share their thoughts on the issues facing Southeast Seattle residents, which ranged from gentrification, to budgeting issues, to Southwest Airlines' proposed move.[[In-content Ad]]
