Seattle man arrested for child pornography

According to various media outlets, Homeland Security is investigating Greg Weldon Phillips, 57, whose computers and cameras at his Seattle home were found to contain thousands of images of child pornography.

Phillips was arrested on Dec. 12 and was scheduled for a hearing in U.S. District Court on Tuesday, Dec. 16.

His collection includes images of young girls in bathing suits at Seattle Center’s International Fountain.

The investigation started in Illinois, through Indiana and Washington, D.C., and traced to Phillips through emails exchanges.

In addition to sharing images, Phillips’ emails allegedly offered advice on how to exploit young children.
