The Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) is closing right eastbound lane of Mercer Street (southernmost) between Fifth and Dexter avenues North. This lane restriction will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the nights of Wednesday, Dec. 17, and Thursday, Dec. 18, for paving and drainage work. The two remaining eastbound lanes on Mercer Street will remain open at all times.
Crews will also close one lane on westbound Mercer Street and one lane on southbound Dexter Avenue North, from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday for the next week.
Also, Taylor Avenue North is closed between Mercer and Roy streets, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, through Friday, Dec. 19, to accommodate concrete pours. Local access to businesses on Taylor Avenue North between Mercer and Roy streets will be maintained from Roy Street.
