The Seattle Department of Transportation is closing one eastbound lane on Mercer Street between state Route 99 and Ninth Avenue North tonight (Wednesday, Dec. 10), from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 11. Two eastbound lanes will remain open at all times. Expect traffic delays.
The lane closure is required to accommodate electrical work.
Crews will also close one lane on westbound Mercer Street (between SR 99 and Ninth Avenue North) and one lane on southbound Dexter Avenue North (between Roy and Mercer streets), from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m., Monday through Thursday for the next two weeks.
