A new skatepark is planned for Magnolia. The project is sponsored by the Magnolia Community Center Advisory Council and has been supported by a small group of volunteers from the neighborhood.
The goal is to raise funds to cover the design effort ($42k) by the spring of 2025. Those who can contribute to this project, we are in need of support from all levels of donors, individuals, small businesses, clubs and organizations. Donations will be tax deductible.
The organization is also seeking community members who have experience in activities such as fundraising, grant writing, solicitation, and organization. No previous experience is required. Those interested in becoming a volunteer, email magnoliaskatepark@gmail.com.
