Polish Festival Seattle celebrates Poland's culture, traditions

Seattle Center Festál continues with Polish Festival Seattle from noon to 7 p.m. on July 8 with a day full of programming in the Armory Food & Event Hall and the Mural Amphitheatre. The celebration of Polish culture, traditions and modern achievements is free and open to the public. 

Along with authentic Polish food, live music, dance performances, exhibits, a marketplace, vodka tasting, beer garden, workshops and more.  

The following will be performing:

• The Polonez Dance Group

• Zabavva

• Vivat Musica!

• Laure Struber-Mosnier will play the music of Fryderyk Chopin.

• The Polonia Polish Folk Song & Dance Ensemble

• Olivia Glod

• Parno Drom

Also this year, a video game showcase will be part of the festival. Partnering with the Indie Games Poland Foundation, the festival will feature 18 video games. Plus, there will even be a Timberman video game tournament to participate in.

About 15,000 Poles live in the Seattle area, and more than 125,000 residents of Washington state claim Polish ancestry.

Polish Festival Seattle (PFS) is produced by Seattle Polish Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization with support from Polish Home Association and Polish American community. Established in 2000, Seattle Polish Foundation is the main Polish-American charity in Seattle and Washington State.
