Student honors

Beck Svaren of Queen Anne was among students at Miami University to receive a degree during the fall commencement on Dec. 10, 2021.

Svaren majored in business, specializing in supply chain and operations management.

Svaren was born and raised on Queen Anne and attended Hilltop Children’s Center, Coe Elementary and McClure Middle School.

He also attended Ballard High School where he was student body president and gave the commencement speech.

Miami University is a public university of nearly 19,000 students in Oxford, Ohio.
