Wells Fargo to open in Interbay

Construction is close to completion on a new Wells Fargo banking store in Interbay (1827 15th Ave. W., Suite A2). The banking store is set to open Monday, March 23.

Store manager Joel Lacuesta will lead about 12 Wells Fargo team members who will provide financial services, including consumer and business banking, loans and lines of credit, financial investing, mortgages and insurance services.

Interbay has five teller windows, two ATMs, safe deposit boxes, an historic mural highlighting the neighborhood’s unique and a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver-certified design.

The mural features historical views of Interbay, including fishermen checking their nets at Fisherman’s Terminal, Smith Cove, the S.S. President Jackson and the Armory.

The design also includes a 1925 map of Seattle, along with Wells Fargo documents. The Museum of History & Industry, the Library of Congress, and Wells Fargo Corporate Archives provided the images for the mural.

The new store will be open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturdays.

The new Interbay banking store is the fourth Wells Fargo location in the Queen Anne and Magnolia neighborhoods:

•Upper Queen Anne banking store (1600 Queen Anne Ave. N.);

•Uptown ATM (522 Queen Anne Ave, N.); and

•Magnolia ATM (3310 W. McGraw St.).
