Vera Davis 84, passed away July 11. She was born in Prague, Czechoslovakia in 1925.
Ms. Davis endured the Nazi occupation and then married the love of her life, James Davis, in Berlin in 1948. Ms. Davis became a U.S. citizen in 1950 in Savannah, Ga. and was a longtime resident of Magnolia.
Preceded in death by her husband, James, and stepdaughter, Carolyn Robinson. Ms. Davis is survived by her daughters, Pam Davis and Sandi Minty, her son-in-law, Tom, and five grandchildren (Heidi, Sean, Chris, Justin and Jimmy Robinson of Calhoun, Ga.).
