Swedish Magnolia welcomes Wittemore

Today, Swedish Physicians Magnolia welcomes Stanley Whittemore Jr., M.D., to the primary care clinic as its new medical director.

Whittemore is a board-certified physician specializing in general primary care and preventive health care.

Whittemore earned his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and completed his residency at Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver.

Prior to joining Swedish Physicians, Whittemore worked at The Langley Clinic, a medical practice he owned in Langley, Wash. He also practiced with Group Health Cooperative for several years before opening his small private practice on Whidbey Island.

Other physicians practicing at the Magnolia primary-care clinic include Lisa Mohr, M.D.; Christopher Shuhart, M.D.; Jessica Wesch, M.D.; Matthew Yuskaitis, M.D.; and Allene Whitney, M.D.

Located at 2450 33rd Ave. W. in Seattle's Magnolia neighborhood, the Swedish Magnolia Clinic is open Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m.-7 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Services at the clinic include family medicine (including pediatrics, adolescent medicine and gynecology), adult care, family centered obstetrics, minor orthopedics, on-site lab and X-ray, annual physicals, osteoporosis consultation and preventive health screening.
