A Queen Elizabeth Dress and a Toinette dress from "Invalid" both sold for $1,000 at Seattle Reparatory Theatre's costume sale last week. At its silent auction, items were sold (several went for the "Buy Now" price) and most of the inventory was gone within 30 minutes. There were about 250 - 300 people lined up outside the theatre waiting to get in at 10 a.m. Staff are estimating the company made $20,000 from the sale. The red dress pictured above went for $500.
