Eugene J. Robson, a convicted Level 3 sex offender who has served his sentence, has registered with the King County Department of Public Safety that he will live in the 10400 block of Roosevelt Way Northeast.
He is not wanted by the police, nor is he under the supervision of the Department of Corrections. But, according to the Department of Public Safety, Robson is considered a high risk to re-offend.
Robson was released from prison in May 1989, after completing his sentence for rape in the first degree of a 23-year-old woman. He had been previously convicted of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes, in 1980, for attempting to sexually assault a 13-year-old (the original charge was for indecent liberties).
Robson also has a lengthy criminal history, mostly misdemeanor offenses and criminal driving offenses.
However, from 2002 to this April, the Seattle Police Department has taken four incident reports involving Robson picking up known prostitutes, three of whom have alleged he assaulted them.
Robson, 55, is 6 feet tall, weighs 160 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes. He bears two tattoos: one says "Carol," on his right shoulder, and another on his upper, left arm. He also answers to the name "Gene" and is known to drive a blue, 1984 Ford Bronco with Washington license plates (the last three letters are LXO).
