Permit applications

•601 Westlake Ave. N. (3010081) for a Land Use Application to demolish an auto warehouse building to facilitate the Mercer Corridor Improvements. Environmental Review for demolition of this and four additional buildings is being conducted under Project No. 3010080. Mitigated Determination of Non-Significance dated January 2009 has been prepared by the City of Seattle's Department of Transportation. The following approval is required: SEPA to approve, condition or deny pursuant to 25.05.660. Building and demolition permits and Department of Neighborhoods Certificate of Approval may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Friday, July 15.

•1104 Mercer St. (3010083) for a Land Use Application to demolish an office building to facilitate the Mercer Corridor Improvements. Environmental Review for demolition of this and four additional buildings is being conducted under Project No. 3010080. •151 John St. (3010102) for a Land Use Application to allow a seven-story, 41-unit apartment building with parking for 26 parking spaces located at and below grade. Early Design Guidance provided under Project No. 3005842. The following approvals are required: SEPA environmental determination (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal.); Design Review. Building permit may be needed but was not included in this application. Design reviews

•100 Republican St. (3005778) of a six-story building containing retail, 10 units at ground level and 266 apartments above. Properties are bounded by First Ave. N., Republican S. and Warren Ave. N. Parking for 302 vehicles to be provided at and below grade. Proposal includes a partial alley vacation and contract rezone from NC 3-40' to NC 3-65' and NC 3P-40' to NC 3P-65'. At the Design Review Board meeting the applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it responds to the Design Guideline priorities established at the Early Design Guidance Board meetings on June 6, 2007, and March 4, 2009, regarding this site; the public may offer comments regarding the proposed design. The meeting will take place Wednesday, July 15m at 6:30 p.m. at Queen Anne Community Center, 1901 First Ave. W., in Room 3. For more information, call DPD land-use planner Marti Stave, at 684-0239.
