Jack Skillingstead's collection "Are You There" and other stories, is, "dark and edgy," according to "Publishers Weekly" which went on to say Skillingstead has "no pat endings, especially when death is only a pause en route to a haunting or digital immortality... Readers braced for powerful emotions will find this collection more than worthwhile."
