The market takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., every Saturday through Oct. 10, outdoors next to the Magnolia Community Center on 34th Street West.
Queen Anne Veggie Garden Tour starts May 30.
Catch your neighbors dirty-handed at a delectable garden tour to inspire the farmer in you. Get great ideas for supporting peas, protecting heirloom tomatoes and starting from the ground up. The tour starts at 10 a.m. at 2603 2nd Ave N. to carpool from garden to garden and meet the farmers. A basket of maps will be on the front porch for latecomers. When we return, join us for refreshments and a question-and-answer session with two of Good Neighbor Garden Project's founders, Nancie Kosnoff and Sarah Holt. Spring Clean 2009
The City's Spring Clean is in its 23rd year and is the premier event for getting volunteers outside and connected up with their fellow Seattleites. This year Spring Clean goes through May 30. 36th District lawmakers hall meeting
Citizens are welcome to attend a town hall meeting with 36th District's Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles, Rep. Mary Lou Dickerson and Rep. Reuven Carlyle. The three will provide an overview of the 2009 session and what future steps our state should take. Cuts for the Cure
Salon Joseph will host a fundraising event for the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Race for the Cure from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 3. Summer camps begin June 22!
Join the Sweet Pea Nation Summer Experience this year for an adventurous and educational vacation. For $185 per week, your child can learn to paint, juggle, sculpt, perform and explore different cultures. Each session is at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, June 22-Aug. 28.
