Energetic baseball coach wanted 

for established Magnolia Baseball Club program.  Program competes in local select baseball league for ages ranging  from 13 to 16. Home games are played in Magnolia and opponents range from 

Edmonds / Issaquah / Auburn.  Players are chosen through tryout process and  play a 25 - 35 game schedule which would include approx two local tournaments. 

Magnolia Chamber meeting

Free Solar Workshop

Solarize Seattle/Magnolia is having a free solar workshop on 8/24 from 7-8:30 pm at the 

Discovery Park Learning Center. Come learn how this exciting nieghborhood project 

will bring solar energy to homeowners and owners of small busninesses in Magnolia/West Interbay 

for the lowest price possible in the shortest amount of time. A representative from the chosen solar 

contractor, Puget Sound Solar, will be present as well.

COFFEE CLUB 

guest speaker is Ryan Velo-Simpson, local Estate Planning Attorney.  Friday, Aug. 19, from 10 a.m. to 11am at the office of GEORGE ANDRADE of EDWARD JONES, at 313 West McGraw St.  Back by popular request, Ryan Velo-Simpson will inform you about what you need to consider when estate planning, and will be available to answer your questions.  Coffee and pastries will be served.  Walk-ins are welcome, but if you would like to reserve a seat call Lisa at (206) 285-3727.  Everyone is welcome!

UW Golf

The University of Washington Alumnae Board (UWAB), with support from the UWAA, are hosting a golf and dinner event on Saturday, August 27th at the magnificent Washington National Golf Club in Auburn to raise money for scholarships for deserving students at the UW.  The online registration and sponsorship links are linked below from the event chairman, Christy Austin.  I am supporting Christy and her golf committee to help make this a successful scholarship money raising event, and will be playing in the event.

Magnolia Manor Park

needs your help! We are in the process of getting Magnolia Manor Park built. It will have Magnolia's first OLA and P-Patches. The Friends of Magnolia Manor Park need event planners, workers, a web-site helper and donors. Uptown Stroll - Calling all artists!
