PUBLIC MEETING ON SEATTLE CENTER’S REVISED RULES

The Seattle Center will have a public meeting on April 22, from 5:30 to 7p.m., on its proposed revised Campus Rules and the Seattle Center Armory Rules (both available at www.seattlecenter.com). The meeting will takeplace in the Seattle Center Armory (305 Harrison St.), in the third-floor Conference Room H.

 

NORTHWEST GREEN HOME TOUR

Queen Anne-based Green Home Solutions presents the third-annual Northwest Green Home Tour on Saturday, April 27. The free, self-guided tour will run from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with more than 25 homes featured. Information/map: www.ecobuilding.org/guild-chapters/seattle/green-home-tour

 

COMMUNITY MEETING ON BALLARD-INTERBAY CORRIDOR

The city will have a community meeting on Monday, April 29, from 5 to 7p.m., to discuss the preliminary recommendations for future land use in Interbay. This is part of the Ballard-to-Interbay Land Use Corridor Study,

QUEEN ANNE WALKING TOUR

The Queen Anne Historical Society will have a walking tour of Queen Anne on May 4, with Feet First’s David Ramsey serving as the guide. This tour, one of many that weekend celebrating urban-livability advocate Jane Jacobs, will take place from 2 to 4 p.m., starting at Boston Street and Queen Anne Avenue North and ending at Counterbalance Park. ‘GREAT DECISIONS’ DISCUSSIONS

Cathy Van Dyke will lead a series of eight “Great Decisions 2013” sessions on a variety of world issues, meeting every other week, from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Magnolia Library, 2801 34th Ave. W. FREE RECYCLING EVENT

1-Green Planet will collect old computers, printers, TVs, stereo equipment, large and small appliances, barbecues, lawnmowers, lawn furniture — anything made of metal and anything with a plug — during a recycling event on May 11. The trucks will be stationed in the parking lot of Magnolia United Church of Christ (3555 W.
